Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Articles
Section default policyClinical Nursing Practice
This section covers advancements, research, and innovations in direct patient care across hospital and community settings. It includes adult medical-surgical nursing, intensive care, perioperative care, and other clinical domains. Articles should aim to improve evidence-based clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
Community and Public Health Nursing
Focused on preventive care, health promotion, and population health, this section invites research on community outreach, disease surveillance, health education, and primary healthcare strategies. Submissions should demonstrate how nursing interventions at the community level influence health indicators and systems resilience.
Maternal, Child, and Pediatric Nursing
This section highlights nursing research related to reproductive health, antenatal and postnatal care, neonatal care, and pediatric nursing. Manuscripts should address clinical practices, policy, or education that contribute to improved outcomes for mothers, infants, and children across diverse healthcare settings.
Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing
Dedicated to the promotion of mental well-being and care for individuals with psychiatric conditions, this section features studies on nursing interventions, therapeutic approaches, stigma reduction, and integrated mental health care. Interdisciplinary and culturally contextualized research is particularly encouraged.
Nursing Education and Leadership
This section supports scholarly work on pedagogy, curriculum development, student outcomes, faculty development, and leadership in nursing education and practice. Submissions should provide insight into how education and leadership strategies can enhance nursing capacity and healthcare delivery.
