APC

The Journal of Clinical Care and Medical Advancement operates under an open-access model to ensure the free and unrestricted dissemination of high-quality scientific content. To cover the costs associated with editorial management, peer review, production, and online hosting, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 150 for accepted manuscripts.

This APC is payable upon acceptance of the manuscript and applies to all article types. Payment of the APC ensures that the article is freely accessible to readers worldwide, promoting the rapid exchange of knowledge and maximizing the impact of published research.

Key Provisions

  1. Waivers and Discounts

    • The journal offers partial or full APC waivers to authors from low-income and lower-middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank.
    • Discounts may be granted to students or early-career researchers upon request, subject to approval by the editorial board.
  2. Invoicing and Payment

    • Authors will receive an APC invoice immediately after the manuscript’s acceptance. Payment must be made within 30 days of receiving the invoice to avoid delays in publication.
    • Payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, and credit card transactions.
  3. Refund Policy

    • APC refunds will only be considered if the article is withdrawn by the author prior to publication or if unforeseen technical issues prevent publication. No refunds are offered for articles that have already been published.
  4. Author Responsibility

    • The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring payment of the APC. Articles will not be scheduled for publication until full payment is received.
    • The journal reserves the right to waive or reduce fees on a case-by-case basis, but this must be requested during the submission process.
  5. Institutional Funding and Agreements

    • Authors affiliated with institutions that have publishing agreements with the journal may have their APC covered or discounted as per the terms of those agreements.
    • Authors are encouraged to explore whether their research grants or institutions offer APC support.
