Information For Authors
The African Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics (AJND) welcomes high-quality, original research articles, reviews, short communications, and policy briefs related to nutrition and dietetics, with a focus on Africa. The journal provides a platform for disseminating scientific knowledge that informs clinical practice, public health interventions, and nutrition policy.
Authors may submit manuscripts in the following categories:
- Original Research Articles – Empirical studies with robust methodology and statistical analysis.
- Review Articles – Systematic reviews and meta-analyses providing critical synthesis of existing literature.
- Short Communications – Concise studies reporting novel findings.
- Case Studies – Detailed reports on unique cases with significant implications.
- Policy Briefs – Summaries of research findings with policy recommendations.
All manuscripts must be submitted online via the journal's submission portal. Each submission undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance.
