Vol. 4 No. 02 (2025): African Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics (AJND)

The African Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics (AJND), Volume 4, Issue 2 (2025), presents a collection of peer-reviewed articles that advance understanding and practice in nutrition science, dietetics, and public health across Africa. This issue highlights the intersection of nutrition, food systems, and health outcomes, with a focus on sustainable dietary practices, nutrition-sensitive interventions, and population-based studies addressing the continent’s evolving nutritional challenges.

Contributions in this issue cover a wide range of themes, including the assessment of nutritional status among vulnerable populations, the role of indigenous and fortified foods in combating undernutrition, and emerging evidence on the double burden of malnutrition in urbanizing African settings. Several papers also explore behavioral and socio-economic determinants of dietary practices, while others assess the effectiveness of nutrition education and policy interventions.

Together, these studies provide evidence-based insights to inform policy, research, and clinical practice in nutrition and dietetics.
